My sister in law is outdoing it this year. Traditional turkey and trims, but also Chicken and dumplings, and a ham.
Loads of family and all our mates.
I hope you and your family have a happy Christmas, and the same wish to all who reads this.

We're going to my mum's for dinner tommorrow.
I'm vegetarian so I won't have the turkey, my mum will substitute some nut roast or something like that for me. Everyone else will have meat - don't know what she's bought yet - I don't think she's got a turkey this year, maybe a chicken or something instead.

We are having beef fondue with mini quiches (appetizer size) and fresh cooked spinach, followed by birthday cake (our oldest just turned 18) and ice cream, all of which are our favorites. We do usually have the ham dinner with all the trimmings, but we're going to be away and didn't want all the leftovers.

First year for us not to have turkey. We are having ham and cornbread dressing with sweet potatoes, baked squash, baked beans, broccoli/cheese casserole, rolls, pecan pie, fudge brownies, fruit salad, dutch apple pie and chocolate cake.
Cranberry sauce.
I've probably forgotten something.

We're having ham, garlic masheds, green bean casserole, stuffing, and green salad with feta, and some sourdough with balsamic. Today!
Tomorrow is all leftovers and then a cocktail party at my family's which means no cooking!
