I have Windows, NOT a Mac, mind you. I have opened iTunes and then inserted the CD into my computer. But then nothing happens! What should I do?

PS: Please don't say, "try again". I have re-tried five times.

Let me rephrase. There IS NO button on the top right corner. There IS NO tab on the right that says "hardwire". This is because I DO NOT have a Mac!!!

When I go to Files>Import... where do I select the CD??? I can't find it.

W/ Mine, I have Windows, if you just put the cd in on the left side a thing comes up in that column that says the cd name or cd and it just starts importing it into the library.
Maybe you should look in the help guide. Just click help on the top bar and then click ipod help.

Good Luck.

If Itunes asks to import the CD, say no and it will still open them up in itunes to listen to. Then select the tracks you want- i think you can right click on the track and select import or convert to aac or something like that. Sorry i'm trying to remember without opening up itunes.

Click on the little button on the upper right corner of itunes

(It says import CD)

I don't have a mac either. itunes should be showing the songs on your CD. Do you have itunes as your default player for music? If not, then you should click on your cd drive and make itunes the player, rather than realplayer or windows media player or whatever else is the default player.

Put the CD in. Choose 'Files,' and then 'Import.' From the window that should open, choose the CD song you want to import and press 'Import.' If you want to import more than one song, hold down the CTRL key while you click on them. If you want to import all the songs, click on the first song, hold down the SHIFT key, and then click on the last song. They should all then be highlighted.

Open the 'Help' menu in your iTunes program if you need more help.
