What do you think about people who go climb mountains that truely have no clue what they are doing? I feel more the rescuers who have to wast their time and sometimes their life finding these stupid people. What do you think?

im with you, not only do they hurt them selves, (when they get lost or stuck..or dead) they hurt everyone else like the rescuers, and their families, and the whole world seems to mourn over them too, its not fair , why do they have to do that?? i even heard their are still bodies up on the mountains from years ago, that cant even be gotten down!! how sad to put people & love ones through that.

HOW MANY TIMES WAS UR HOME ON FIRE? ALMOST NEVER..THEN, DO YOU NEED A SMOKE DETECTOR OR A FIRE EXTINGUISHER?? ALMOST NEVER.BUT WE STILL KEEP THEM.

WELL FACT IS THAT MOST PEOPLE WHO CLIMB HIGH MOUNTAINS ARE USUALLY SCIENTISTS WHO PERFORM EXPERIMENTS AT HIGH ALTITUDES.
OTHER PEOPLE LIKE PROFESSIONAL MOUNTAINEERS ARE LIKE NORMAL DAREDEVILS U C IN A CIRCUS OR ANY EXTREME EVENTS.NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE, EVERY ONE NEEDS RESCUE OPERATONS.

EVEN U NEED RESCUE OPERATIONS IF U GET ACCIDENT WHILE UR GOING TO SCHOOL.JUST 'COZ U GOT ACCIDENT ONCE, WILL U STOP GOING TO SCHOOL? AND DENY,BLAME THOSE WHO RESCUED U?NO, U THANK THEM. BUT IN BOTH CASES, THE RECUERS DO THE SAME JOB.ONE IS ON TOP OF A SNOWMOUTAIN .OTHER , IN UR NEIGHBOURHOOD OR IN UR CITY.

SO ITS NOT WASTING LIVES, ITS LIKE "USING LIVES FOR SERVICE OF OTHER'S LIVES" LIKE THE MILITARY PEOPLE SAY."SERVICE TO THE COUNTRYMEN IS SERVICE TO THE GOD HIMSELF".

SO NEXT TIME U FEEL LIKE SOMEONE'S RISKING THEIR LIVES, PLZ RESPECT THEIR BRAVERY AND VALOUR, ITS A SHAME TO THINK THEY ARE WASTING THEIR LIVES.

I'M TELLING U ALL THIS 'COZ I HAD A FRIEND WHO WAS ON THE RESCUE MISSION IN THE HIMALAYAS AND HE'S NO MORE TODAY.MAY GOD BLESSS HIS HIM AND HIS COURAGE.

People who do hobbies such as mountain climbing should have to pay for the rescue if anything goes wrong. It's a hobbie, not something they are required to do.

I THINK THEY KNOW THE RISKS, BUT ALWAYS THINK IT'LL HAPPEN TO OTHERS. YES, WE DO FEEL MORE FOR ALL OF THE RESCUERS WHO HAVE TRIED TO HELP.

i think u were NOT listening to the whole story because all those boys were experienced mountain climbers and u should be ashamed for at least not feeling sorry for their families

if you are talking about the mt. hood casualties, it was not unpreparedness that killed them. One climber got injured, and his partners tried to go back for help. Its just sad, thats all...
