Good girl! You know what Christmas is all about. I too would rather give than receive, especially to the small children. I just love it watching them opening their gifts and the anticipation of Santa Claus coming in their eyes!! It is so sweet. Merry Christmas to you and I hope you enjoy your time visiting with your family.

I enjoy the family time . . . seems that the holidays have become so commercialized that it's all about who spends the most anymore. I love the family time---catching up on what everyone's done the past year--and taking lots of pictures.
I have always loved giving presents--but receiving/giving the gift that is homemade has always had a special meaning since you feel someone took the time to make it for you.

Presents is great and all but if you take away the family Christmas just isn't the same.

Away in a manger,
No crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus
Laid down His sweet head

The stars in the bright sky
Looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay

The cattle are lowing
The poor Baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes

I love Thee, Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my side,
'Til morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus,
I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever
And love me I pray

Bless all the dear children
In Thy tender care
And take us to heaven
To live with Thee there

Christmas should be a time of sharing with loved ones and celebrating the Birth of Christ.

Sharing is not necessarily presents, it can be sharing your love for one another, sharing your memories with each other, sharing in the love of Christ and what He has done for you sense the last Christmas. Its not just about gifts.

I would much rather share my love & memories with those I love and hold dear than get gifts.
I would much rather have a family member fly in to spend time with us than to get gifts.

It should be about sharing time with each other instead of the gifts. The gifts should be secondary and not so excravendant.

Christmas has became to commercialized, its all about gifts...give me give me give me....
Most Kids these days dont care about anything else, very sad that it has changed so much....

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL !
&
God Bless

family time
Frankly all this commercialism makes me a little buggy
Presents fror my children and grandkids, fine after that- no more I am tuckered out and the day hasn't arrived yet
