I ordered in plenty of time and the items were promised by Christmas! Guess what! They didn't arrive. And our celebration in momentarily now! They are resending the order, but gee, the moment is lost! Any similar horror stories?

My Sister in law ordered the new PlayStation for my nephew the week of Thanksgiving - the order said shipped, but it never made it. The store offered to give her a $5 gift certificate because of the inconvenience. I couldn't believe they were serious, so we don't have a PS but my nephew has all of the games. The store manager said it's possible the order was processed but someone in the warehouse or shipping department may have stolen it.

Have had this horror story for the past 4 years. We are military stationed overseas in a remote location and every christmas we order sooner and sooner but still we are alwyas missing a huge part of our christmas. Mail sometimes can take up o 6 weeks to reach us!!!!!!!!!! So now we open presents form christmas morning till new years LOL!!!

I ordered two books from Amazon more than two months ago. The package hasn't yet arrived. I ordered in the past more than 10 times from Amazon and always the books arrived on time. This is the first time I have this bad experience.

yes just recently bought 2 vacume cleaners
they arived 2 months after i was suppost to get i rang company and was told last shipment were faulty so i had to wait
when they arived by post they were left at my front door in a huge box i was lucky they were not stollen, after a few times in use 1 vacume fell to pieces and i was told i must return by mail at my cost after checking my rights i found i didnt not have to pay for postage but to take legal action it was cheaper to just post back and get a refund
My advice to everydody never buy via mail order i went to the shops and bought a better and cheaper one and took it home on the same day
oh how i would love to give the company name but i dont think im allowed

One year I ordered all my gifts from Spiegel's and nothing came so I had to rush out and buy gifts because I was flying across the country (USA) the next day.
When the items finally came I just rejected the entire order.

I ordered two things at the same time from the same store on two separate orders and one showed up on Friday, and the other one....not so much. I want to smack someone.

Yes.......I ordered some boots online and I was guaranteed to have them by Christmas and I haven't received them. I was going to wear them tonight and I had the whole outfit ready. I went to UPS online and checked my tracking number and supposedly they had already come to my house and no one was there so they rescheduled for the 27th but they didn't even leave a dawm slip.........aaaawwwww I am so pissed off right now. Thanks for letting me vent.............sorry about your stuff too I understand exactly.

um, burning to death is horrifying. Missing orders are merely inconvenient and yes it's happened to me and it wasn't a big deal in the whole scheme of things.
