Leather is not sexy unless you have a thing for gothic glamour girls...and I do not. I do however think FAKE fur is sexy but anything that has been torn from an animals body while it lived and breathed would turn me off, right off.
Incidently for those who argue that leather is just a by-product of the meat industry, you are actually deceived. Most leather that we use in the west comes from India where the cows are kept mainly for their skins and are treated horrificly!

Leather is a byproduct, where fur is the only thing used. I don't like the idea of fur. It's just not right. But I do like my steak, medium well with mushrooms.

now as to the question, leather and fur are both, byproducts of the meat industry, and harvested for their singular use.
it happens to be my belief that when an animal is killed that all of it should be used. so i do commonly buy leather, and FUr attached Leather from reliable sources that show that the parts came from the meat industry. i make many of my own cloths as well as medieval style renn faire clothing with it.
i find leather and fur in everyday derss to be sexy in moderation.
fur highlight on a coat collarm sexy,,fur coat that you are lost in...
well it looks warm, but not sexy.

I like furs....leather just outlines the body more...but all fur is...is leather that still has its hair...

Fur sheds and isnt waterproof. Also, both leather and fur come from dead animals.

Leather is considered a by-product as the cow has been killed for it's meat primarily. However, anmals are killed specifically for fur.
