I just got an iPod. When I went to download iTunes, it downloaded fine onto my Windows XP, but then when I clicked the link on my desktop, iTunes Setup(4).exe, it says that it "is not a valid Win32 application". Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do?

Yes I did download the Windows Version and it said "All Applications have finished downloading" before I clicked it.

I have an iPod Shuffle, so it did not come with a software.

Nope but If u get an error message like that u might have to reinstall it and see if it works again Normally win u get an error message like that it means u ran the program when the itunes wasnt done downloading

Did you downloaded the Windows version and not the Mac or Linux version?

You should of got a software disc with your ipod. Load that in and it should be ok.
