I use a really good antivirus program called AVG. AVG is one of the three PC antivirus programs supported by Pomona. AVG is free for non-commercial use and can be downloaded from the Grisoft website.

Viruses are something that change, every day it's a new one, most of the good companies that are in the anti virus business know that, and they will take that advantage to have a slave customer, it's a good business, but sometimes people lose the perspective, and spend hundreds of dollars to protect something that is not worth that much. You can spend it in a different, most effective way, If you have something that is very valuable, store it in a computer that has no access to the Internet, use another cheap computer to surf the Internet, and if your Internet-surfer computer it's infected just get another one, it's cheaper, safer and better.

I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

I agree, spybot search and destory is good. I also really like AD-aware - personal/avg anitvirus, it's great to run on a regular basis. Just google them.
