Why do people have so many kids when they can't afford them or raise them right?

Because if you are poor or low income, the government pays you for every kid you have. Some see this as a living. One more kid equals a bigger government check.

Areas of the world where the quality of life is more in the comfortable zone people are much less likely to have large famillies. A climate of fear and anxiety produces more kids than does a tranquil one. If you want the earth to be less burdened by its population stop being a selfish *** and set out now to ensure that everyone on earth gets all the QUALITY education that they can get. People are only generally dumb and backward when they don't get an education that enables them to read, write and reason. You might not have the highest IQ but if you can do those things you are head and shoulders above those who can't. Your best bet in life is to want the best for everyone and to be a servant of all and thus a servant of God. Get over yourself as soon as you can(thats my new holiday greeting as it seems much more positive than the empty merry christmas or happy hawkanah or whatever). Do this and everywhere you go you will be met by friends. Yeah it'll take a while and you could be martyred but what do you care? Your life, as it is, measures up to maybe puffed pigeon snot or somewhere in that range. The reason that isn't plain to you is that everyone around you is challenged in nearly the same way. Its the same as if you put your kid in a school for retarded children. Your child would soon pick up traits of those poor little blighters and would thus then be suffering from unnecessary debilities like those of your present self. I don't mean at all by this to cause you any more grief than you already experience in life but instead to give you a heads up on the meaning of your question rather than an answer that supports your particular moral bent. Maybe you can profit from my lame *** suggestion and get your front porch even cleaner than mine, which is nothing to brag about. I hope you do better than me and then you can come help me out some time by giving me a smack on the side of my head. Joy to the world!

If they cannot afford to have kids then possibly they cannot afford not to have kids either. Birth control is expensive for people with a low income.

hmm i been wondering that same question.People that do that are so dumb,especially the "mommy",its not the kids fault that she wants to keep banging.Luckily i just have 1 sibling.I guess this is a case i might NEVER understand,i cant waste my time interviewing people about this case! And plus,people who are in low income and keep having kids are making themselves and their kids suffer financially.Or most likely they will be at risk.I just hate when they do that.No wonder that in poverty, mostl of the time the kids suffering.! wow..good luck people,behind every mistake,there is a lesson to be learned!

Every parent should put their teen daughter on birth control. Would solve a lot of problems. Teen pregnancy is the number one cause of poverty in the country.

It's not a hard question to answer. Poor people aren't the most logical individuals. I know of one couple who had 2 sons and wanted a daughter. So they figured they'd keep having kids without stopping until one of them was a girl. This is the mindset a lot of them have.

I understand the feeling of wanting to have a lot of kids though. If I could I'd have hundreds.

Well, because many people are Pro-life. Even when times are hard, they can not bare to abort, or even give their own child: flesh and blood up for adoption. This would be a life learned lesson.

if i was poor enough ,and did`nt have tv and other things to do i`d proubly find something to do.then bam!!!! help me raise all these kids.
