Well, you get a couple of things when you are about one years old, because you are not really aware that it is Christmas, but the joy you see on the baby's face is worth giving the gift.
When you are older, like 5, you get a lot of gifts, that are not that expensive but is still valuable to the child.
When you are about 8-10 you get gameboys and other expensive stuff, and you get a lot of it. Now, when you are between the ages of 11-15, you get a lot of electronics, clothes, that sort of thing. It is expensive stuff. You don't get a lot of the gifts, but they are pretty good gifts.

My parents spend a lot on Christmas gifts, like 10-20 gifts. They can provide for our family, so I am happy for that. But the gifts don't matter, it is all about celebrating the birth of Jesus and being with family.

I used to get a lot from my father's mother. My parents would usually give me anywhere between 10-12 gifts. They probably spent about $200 on me.

Now that I'm grown, I don't get as much, but the value is still the same.

None. If I were their parent I'd take them to volunteer for the needy. Then take them home and have a nice small dinner and talk about the day and how they felt about it. Last year my daughter made a new friend with someone her age, so it was kind of sweet. They got to stay up all night and watch whatever they wanted, all dressed up in their pajamas and slippers with a bowl of popcorn.
