Can someone please explain to me (or direct me to a place with an explanation) how are "gap solitons" are formed in a nonlinear photonic crystals?
I need a simple qualitive explanation (no complicated equations) of the, in and out gap solitons ,phenomenon and bistability.

thank you :)

Some data required is the next surgeon generals warning
phrase to be added to public information. Gap scientists are
now looking for the answer to the unknown. Photo, photonic,
photointegrals does not have a shape. Presently the element
of aluminum, and all recent charged nucleonic data is under
ring science. When the first particles of the next generation
of photons is established through the dates of productivities it
will order within the gains. Positrons is where the gap is
shown to the integral atomic energy. No public data, no news,
no thought has shape presently in the orb laws of photon
science making the cost of photography, some teltron scopes,
and recording machinery function without interactive troop. In
general gaps are filled with troops or data gatherers without
shape dieing from interactive gravitational movement. Atomic
laws are theoretic, no gap science exists in the voids, making
it relative to the theoretical E=Mc2.
