There is no actual insurgency.
What the Bushies and lapdog media call insurgents are simply Iraqis that don't want us there, and are killing us to make that message known.
They are not some distinct group as the administration would have you believe. Just patriotic Iraqis that want the invaders out.

There not insurgents they are basic criminals.
Organized crime (Al Capone style) is now called by the liberal FOX news insurgency. They are basic thugs fighting for control of territory. Is religion part of Sure just like Lucky Luciano had a priest on the pay-role.
Bush won't admit that he was out smarted and out maneuvered by a bunch of thugs.

The insurgency is Saddams baathist army that we disbanded but forgot to disarm. With, of course, the shiites finally fighting back.

Some of the insurgency are the old Saddam supporters. The others are Islamic fundamentalists.
Under Saddam's regime he killed tens of thousands of Islamic fundamentalists. It's one of the reasons he's being executed. Personally, for that slaugther I think he should get the medal of freedom.

Afraid to show their face. Remember what he did to the Kurds? How about the Shiites when they had their uprising after Desert Storm. The insurgency is a result of a power vacuum after a totalitarian dictator was deposed.

the "insurgency" are the people that want the U.S. out of Iraq. These people were in Iraq all the time. We weren't.

They were in the government . Police ,military ,ordinance ,and in general ready to battle Iran .
Now they are fighting America . You can never win a war when half the people do not like you at all and want you dead and win .
All you can do is get people killed . A smart man would know this instinctively .
