For Christmas Eve get takeout just for your own family, if you're having guests then buy a roast, turkey or ham that is already cooked and you only have to heat it. Throw a bunch of herbed little potatoes around the meat to bake and make a frozen vegetable that comes with a sauce.

We have snacks, like mini tacos, stuffed jalapenos, summer sausage, cheese &crackers, and egg nog. We cook something big for Christmas day, but take the easy way on Christmas eve.

in my family, x-mas eve dinner is usually something fun (like Chinese food) or something traditional like Swedish meatballs. maybe you could cook something that you haven't had in a while, or really love, but don't have time otherwise to cook it. lasagna is a great idea!

Depends on what you like. I usually go for (depending on how many people) some really nice steaks, and some fresh crab. with some mashed potato's and and corn on the cob. In a word perfection.

dont cook eat out and if you cook don't cook turkey try pork shoulder oven roasted put the yam's in the oven also leave them with skins. be inventive

Boil some shrimp. Use "Bay" seasonings, cocktail sauce, and a salad. Very quick and in season.
