I was dumped on Christmas day. Her "2 cents" was that she "didn't see any point in prolonging it."
The only thing I remember these days about Donna is being dumped on Christmas day, at my mom's house with "my girlfriend."
I would recommend that if you're serious, you call ahead and cancel Christmas plans, or if you actually have a heart in your chest, you wait til after the 1st of the year.

Well.. depends on your personality. If you're a complete and total jerk, without any feelings, then you won't feel any guilt. For the other person, well if they're with someone like that, that alone is an advantage for them.
Otherwise, there is none. Why break up with them on Christmas? That's like breaking up with them and never telling them you broke up with them.

If you are really adamant about doing it on Christmas, you'll know that will be brought up.
All you can do then is go to the "secular" card real hard and heavy. It might even divert the subject a little bit and make it easier.

Dude my ex and I just broke up 6 days ago. That hurt like a mutha. I can only Imagine what it would be like to get it on Christmas. Dude you would have to be a complete *** to do that to someone. I mean be happy with what you have because once it's gone you will never find someone like that again. I mean is your relationship with this person sooooo bad you have to do it on Xmas. Being with someone is more than just having sex with that person. Hold that person close to you because you never know what you got until it's gone.

I guess the fact that you don't gotta worry about giving them a gift is an advantage. Other than that, I really can't think of any.

You won't have to get them or their family a present. But that's a very jerky thing to do.
