Youuuu are not aloooooneeee......
I have a decorated tree, home baked cookies, on X-mas Eve salmon canapees with champagne, tomorrow stuffed chicken , lots of x-mas films on tv, thrilling books, CDs, candles...
the big depression i had 3 days ago when my boss decided not to give me vacation to go home. And the worst is I reside in a muslim country where there is zero-X-mas feeling!

Sarah you are not the only one out there that doesn't have anyone to celebrate x-mas with. I have been doing it since '98. If you have a 4-legged friend then you aren't alone for the holiday by any stretch of the imagination. I have made the best of it for all of these eight years (Lord I can't believe it's eight) I have chips, dips and eggnog and watch tv and movies on x-mas eve, then on x-mas day I enjoy fixing a nice x-mas dinner of a nice steak and baked potato. I have seen more than one question like yours posted in this category and I have basically said the same thing to all of them, I tell them what I do for christmas. I enjoy it because I don't have to worry about somebody watching something that I don't want to.
Merry Christmas and enjoy having the quiet and serenity of being home alone and call your friends and family tomorrow and wish them a Merry Christmas.

I spent a few years alone at xmas and actually enjoyed being away from all the stress. Its a Pagan festival anyway so don´t worry about it.
But if it bothers you go out somewhere, DO something sitting arround sulking isn´t going to help. God helps those who try and help themselves. Ask for help, go out and you wil be suprised :)

looks like me too. Invited acquaintances to spend the day right here yet they have cried off for countless reasons. So i will cook dinner myself a huge classic yule roast and take a seat in front of the television tube all day. no longer frightened approximately spending yule on my own.

No but I'm sad you are going to be alone. Aren't there some friends you know that you can at least visit? Make some cookies today and put them in a tin and bring them to your friends and visit. If you visit at least two friends' houses, then you won't be alone and maybe they'll invite you to dinner.

I'm not but there are a lot of people who are and that is why Christmas can be such a depressing time of the year for a lot of people.
