To be honest, I am 11, and I know how you feel. Some people don't even have moms! So be thankful you have one. Sure she might bug you, but she's only trying to help! I know at that age, we get picky about privacy. But, still, you can learn from her mistake. When you have children, you will make sure to give them space and privacy, etc. So you are LEARNING, technicaly. Well, just focus on your studies. lol, JK. no really, focus...

I understand how you feel. I remember when I
first started mine's 5 years ago. She kept
asking me if I was okay and that got pretty
annoying. But it's like that for your mom to
worry over you. She's just making sure that
you are okay. She wants to help you, esp.
when you have cramps, have leaks in your pants, etc. So the next time she bothers you,
kindly say so and kindly tell her to leave you
alone.

She's probably urm, excited for you, because you're growing up.
Take her aside and tell her it makes you feel uncomfortable to have her asking you about it all the time...
Also assure her that if you do have any questions or concerns you will ask her. Let her know you appreciate her.. Kinda let her down easily, she may have just been hurt when you asked her to lay off.

my mom did that too, along with telling everyone in my whole family. i got really pissed, but it'll blow over soon enough. my mom doesnt even mention it anymore. she doesnt even ask me when the last time i've had it or anything..... im sure this is just temporary, and she is just excited i guess for you, since you are growing up.

Your mom just wants to talk to you! She thinks that maybe you don`t know many about periods! Just sit calmly and talk nice to her then she will see that you are mature and know all about puberty!
Good luck!

She just cares about you. This is a big moment in your life. You are turning into a woman. Just enjoy the fact that she loves you and cares about you and your body. Your Mom can be your best friend if you allow her too.
Just relax and know that she loves you more than life its self. You are a lucky girl. There are a lot of kids that wish they were in your shoes!

listen to what she has to say or tell her she can explain it to you later after your cycle because you will be less apt to get pissy then (sorry but PMS is real) you might want to try some midol too that can help with mood and cramps or just tell her if you have any questions you will let her know........Happy Holidays!!!!

Tell her you know that she's excited about it, but she's really bugging you...it's really no big deal and you'll both be so sick of it before you know it. Every woman gets it (usually) so it's nothing to fight over (see where female emotions got you know?).
