First of all I would research coverage, I would log onto each provider's site. Alot of the providers have a coverage tool where you can plug in your address and it can show you how good the coverage is in your area. Another thing is I would take into consideration it how much you want to spend on your rate plan. Compare the rate plans with the companies that have the best coverage for your area. Another thing is to make sure you know how long you have to try out the service without being completely committed to the contract, most companies have a 30 day return policy. That way if you are not satisfied you can return the phone. Most importantly pick the phone best suited to your needs, not because it's "cool". If you don't need to check emails or do alot of online stuff then for example a Blackberry doesn't suit your needs. Also check to see if the company offers lost/stolen/damage insurance. That way you can protect your investment. Hope this helps. :)

LG is always the best phone. I like the LG-VX9900 right now from Verizon Wireless. I've had Verizon for ever and never had a problem, good coverage and no dropped calls. Used to have sprint, they were good, but didn't have coverage everywhere.

Depends on where you live.
Verizion tends to be good all around (it works really good where i live in maryland but sucks where i go to college in NC)
In NC alltel seems to work the best.
Ask people who are your friends and co-workers what they have.
Also note the people you call a lot and what service provider they have because a lot of times service to service is free!

You're going to get a variety of answers here, best thing is do research on each one, also look for a deal that each one might have on their website to get a good phone. It just depends on what you are looking for. I was with Sprint, now I'm with T-Mobile, but all in all, I think they are all money sucking evil empires. :)

I think Verizon is. They have great service, their phones are durable, and their customer service is great. Some of my friends use other services and their parents say they want to switch to verizon.
