This happens when your computer is addicted to cigarettes and whiskey!!! You need to get some nicorette gum and start weening it off the booze. Maybe consider it a membership to a local gym? Get it back it shape and tell it to start doing something with its life.
Also check oddly named files for drugs.

Maybe you need another disk, like another expansion disk that you may have installed after that.

try dusting off the disk a few times. in my n64, sometimes the game wont work because it's all gunky. hope you can fix this :)
