It seems most of the people prefer's to avoid some bad true's, is that better?

Being sincere shows your character and you are worth of praise. Let me say that you can do many things to make people like you but they could be detrimental to your character and/or your well-being. In life, avoid all extreme and saying bad true is one of them. Remain sincere and you will get the respect that you command and deserve.

I think you mean honest. There are just certain white lies we tell in proper society. You should always be sincere AND tactful. But, you don't need to be mean or hurtful.

Honesty is always the best tool. When you are honest you gain people's respect. It has always worked for me. Good luck!
