Start with 3, then san andreas, and after that liberty city stories.

play San Andreas or wait for gta 4 but get rid of the others cause they are complete trash compared to San Andreas

play them in order, otherwise you'll get annoyed that the older one didn't have certain features from the newer ones. So, 3, vc, sa, vcs
Personally, I think you should get a hold of the original GTA, because it is also ridiculous fun
