Godzilla has never been embraced by the American movie-going audience. We just don't get Godzilla for some strange reason. I don't think a 3d version would encourage but a few more people to see it than normally would. The only reason the last americanized Godzilla did even close to what it did, is because it was riding off the success of the producers who'd just done Independence Day and it had Matthew Broadrick, a Class-A, actor in it. But it still fell short from expectations. Now, when Night Of The Living Dead 3-D finally gets here in Febuary, then you'll see some happy Americans!
