I don't think it matters, as long as you take it with or after a meal so that it has the maximum effect. I take mine after breakfast. But if I miss breakfast, I take it after lunch or dinner. Sometimes I even take one after breakfast AND dinner just for extra benefit. After breakfast it gives you energy for the day, and after dinner it helps your body rebuild while you sleep. morning with breakfast. You should always take a multi with food because some of the vitamins are fat soluble and need food to be digested properly.

i read an article once...i think it was in prevention that taking it at night before bed is a good time because it allows the vitamins to enter your system better...also i have a weird reaction to vitamins...they make me sleepy for some reason so i take them then because of that.
