I received a call from the Dept. of Human Resources Friday; DHR had took a child that was in a unstable home environment out of the home and ask me if I would take him into my home for at least six months and I said yes. The child is one of my sons best-friends. That is my good deed for Christmas 2006.

My 3 kids & I will head over to our local soup kitchen to volunteer. It was only a few years ago that WE were in a situation that required us to get help, so it's only fair if we give back. Plus, it shows the kids there are other things to do on Christmas besides open toys.

I am familiar with a poor family and will be boxing up a huge load of toys and leaving them at their front door tonight, signed , Love Santa.
