Any way you want that is some way helps or honors Mother Earth. Depending on where you live that could mean several things, here are some suggestions...
1. Donate some time and pick up trash in a local park or vacant lot
2. Help to plant a tree
3. Pick up trash at a sea or lakeshore (if you are near one)
4. Contact a local conservation organization and volunteer
5. Go out into the wilds and have a peaceful picnic or a meditation, if you feel inclined to hug a tree or the earth, do that also.
6. Buy the new lightbulbs that use less energy and replace all your lightbulbs in your house on that day.
7. If you collect paper or cans (or both) bring those items to your local recylcling center that day and give the money you get (if any) to a local conservation group
8. Patronize any store in your area that offers natural or recycled object and buy an item to put someplace that will remind you that we need to celebrate our Earth on all days...not just Earth Day.

EARTH DAY is saving the enviorment we should recyele all things that we can go to a empty lot or park and pick up all the trash that people left around. But the most important thing i do on earth day is celebrate my daughter`s birth day she is an earth day child that`s what i tell her for the last ten years

Gather a group of friends and plant some trees or clean up a park. You could also go on a picnic in a nice wood or something like that, and if you feel inclined to, you can hug a tree or the earth. I love Earth Day myself. It's a nice opportunity to get back to nature.

Get a unch of friends, go to a park and hug some trees, or lay face-down on the ground, with your arms wide open (hug the earth).

well all earth day is about is a day were
you recycle or maybe even just watering your plants
its your choice of what you want to do
you could just do something about it like not turning
the lights on and just using a candle
no electricity well you could do something totally different
but about earth day

I don't know. We don't really celebrate Earth Day where I'm from in the south (the deep south)!!!!!

Becoming vegetarian or planting a tree or going to a hospital bringing gifts for kids and adults and of coase teens

it might be nice to volunteeer for picking up trash or organizing an event like that.=) or help out at a recycling center. something that helps the earth. volunteering i think is best.=]
