Quit with the ethinic names, and go for something normal.

If you put any of those names on a resume, they would be passed right over! --- Wrong...but true!

Researchers at the University of Chicago (Marianne Bertrand) and Harvard University (Sendhil Mullainathan) found in a 2003 study that there was widespread discrimination in the workplace against job applicants whose names were merely perceived as "sounding black." These applicants were 50% less likely than candidates perceived as having "white-sounding names" to receive callbacks for interviews, no matter their level of previous experience. Results were stronger for higher quality résumés. The researchers view these results as strong evidence of unconscious biases rooted in the United States' long history of discrimination. This is an example of structural racism, because it shows a widespread established belief system. Another example is apartheid in South Africa, and the system of Jim Crow laws in the United States of America. Another source is lending inequities of banks, and so-called redlining.

I'd go with Idris (with one S), Jabari or Jalani.

Or how about the normal spelling of Eric?

Aeryck is wack - and he'll spend a lifetime telling people how to spell it

Euro is the currency in Europe (their eqivelent to our dollar) and that's not good for a name (it's kinda ghetto to name your kid after money).

Adore and Isyss are girls names (you don't want his classmates teasing him about that for 12 years, do you?).

I think you should go with Aeryck or Jalani. Don't be afraid to use a creative name, or a name outside the American culture. Tell you the truth, it gets tiring, meeting so many Johns and Davids and James. Name him something that means something to you. Names go through cycles of popularity, and people try to stay with the list of so-called "acceptable names" like they would shoes. Even Aeryck Jalani (Or visa versa), as a first and middle name pair sounds good.

Adore and JA'Dore seem feminine, Especially Charm he probably will have problems in school...
Jalani, is cool and so is Euro...they are still masculine Jabari is cool because of it's definition
The rest are so different he might have trouble with them too!

Are you raising your child here in the US?. If so do you care how kids in school will treat your child? Do you care if someday he won't get an interview because he has a "screwball name"

Sorry if you're offended but that's the reality.

You don't have to go with plain old American male names but at least pick something that's recognized as a "real" name. Someday your son will thank you for not picking something that will likely cause him difficulties.

Think about this long and hard before choosing a name that will cause your son grief-give him name that at least won't penalize him

Eric or Fergus would be good choices. Please think of your child's welfare and not your own vanity when you saddle this kid with a name that he's going to be stuck with for the rest of his life. BTW - there are a couple of older women of color near where I live named Charm - avoid that one at all costs, along with anything that sounds like Adore. I like Empirio too, though.

I would choose Aeryck. Though it is pronounced Eric, it looks unique. I think that it looks like the name of a Irish king.

Out of the choices you provided I would have to go with AERYCK, spelled different but sounds like a normal name that won't get your son teased too much.
