What do I know about it? Off the top of my head . . .

1) Large, round footprints have been found.

2) It has been suggested that it is a sauropod dinosaur, or some new kind of hippo.

3) The preeminent mokele-mbembe researcher is Roy Mackal. He has written about the mokele-mbembe at length.

4) I recall reading a story - maybe in one of Heuvelmans' books - that a mokele-mbembe's meat was reputedly poisonous.
