most folks seem to like Monty python. especially the christian baiting life of Brian which is very, very funny although i prefer the holy grail. then theres the blackadder series, something I'm told the yanks didn't enjoy as it went over their heads. what about the borat film? Ive not seen it but its meant to be hilarious in a sending up of America type way. not something for the states then. maybe your humour is just too low to appreciate irony, subtlety and wit as opposed to gutter humor in such films as hey dude wheres my car.

I really think the idea of the American space agency or whatever it is, purporting to be tracking a fictional character who rides round the world on a sleigh pulled by reindeer every Christmas is the funniest thing I've heard all year. You're so right. We just can't compete.

Well you may be disappointed in our efforts BUT do we care what you think...NO!
We survive quite nicely without Yankee Doodle Dandy muppets and we will continue to survive.
We give the world culture, history, technology and the best fighting spirit in the world.......the Americans give us Mickey Mouse, Third rate movies and comedy shows and shoot their allies in the back during conflict.
Then, they come on here and say we have no sense of humour...we have the best sense of humour anywhere....we put up with you!! and your inane babbling!! McDonalds horse burgers and your second rate fighting forces and warplanes.
To top it all, you give us Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and George Bush to listen to........and we haven't got a sense of humour.......
