I discovered I could see through things when I was six... I could bend steel at 10, I ran at supersonic speed at 12 and I flew for the first time when I was 15... I also have super strength and can see into the future. But to this day, I don't know if I'm an earthling or Kryptonian. So...
In all truth, I don't think you EVER fully find out who you really are.
