Suicide is a negative solution. All it will do is hurt the people around you. That's a sick thing to do to them, especially when they love and care about you, and especially if anyone looks up to you. Chemical imbalance or just depressed, you aren't a victim, life is amazing and killing yourself is just plain stupid. If need be, talk to someone.

Hi Samantha,
I just read your post. These type of thoughts are very real and need to be addressed immediately. You did not indicate your situation or your age.
Regardless, you are intelligent enough to use a computer and find this web page. More importantly you are seeking advise.
As I sit here with my soon to be grand-daughter Samantha (Sam) I have to ask myself if my (Sam) was telling me this I would have to give her the same suggestions as most of the kind people who have responded to your post.
It sounds to me like some of them have experienced this them self or have had a loved one that has.
I actually have two loved ones that have had these feelings that I know of. My son and MYSELF!
What does help is support. I suggest you google DBSA, what ever city you live in or big city around you. I have been attending a DBSA meeting for over 2 years now. Granted I don't go every week but in the beginning I did. When I miss to many meetings my wife will suggest I go to one and it helps get me back on track.
What I really appreciate about this type of forum is no one sits in judgement (most of the time) The meeting is not to judge or be judged, it's to identify with others. This allows you to see your not the only person in the world that feels like you. (As I like to say "Your Not The Lone Ranger!") You can ask questions, you can bring a friend or any support person you want too.
www.dbsalliance.org This is the web address for the National Association. By the way DBSA stands for:
Depression BiPolar Support Alliance
I hope this helps you Samantha and anyone else who might use the information.
Dan

What will be will be and if your lesson here on earth was to do it it will be done. The rule of fate will prevail over all else. You may be coming to terms with death as it is a reality and the lesson we start to learn from birth. Everyone has at least briefly though about suicide, how to and how not to and if. If you dont think your going to do then you are not. You are simply sorting out some personal conflicts and you can only do this yourself. You will walk away from this as a lesson in death as you done away with some conflicts and moved on to others. Conflict creates change and change creates conflicts. Thats just the way it is. Every single thing happens for a reason just as this answer.

If you've been depressed for too long that kinda crap starts to happen. Deal with the real issue, not the symptoms. If you are seein a shrink, start talking more about deeper things. If you're not feeling the dude, then get another doc.
In the mean time take your meds the way you're supposed to.
And if you're not on anti depressants, then do a little research, i'm quite sure your city has some sort of free mental health service which can hook you up with a free scrip.
It'll work out if you let it.

Well having gone through it, the best thing I can say is go get help as soon as possible. Suicidal thoughts for some reason come to lots of people this time of year. There are very good drugs now available to help you that were not available even two years ago and they are getting better all the time. Please get some help. Life may not seem like it, but it is beautiful.

Do whatever you can to get help by doing what the majority of previous responders have noted: seeking medical attention, counseling, or a free help hot-line. It was brave of you to post this question now it is up to you to take the next brave step and tell someone else who can actually help you. These thoughts are demonic and brought on by the devil who is trying to get as many people to go to hell with him as possible. Killing yourself will not solve anything, you need to nip this in the butt before it gets worse. My advice to you would be to tell someone you love and trust in addition too telling someone who is trained in dealing with these types of situations as well, so that they can be there to support you through these hard times.

I'm soooo sorry! Well, try seeing a phycologist. Or if you think that you can handle it try to think of happier things. Also, try talking to a friend or family member who you can trust. Don't give up life!!!! The world can be a complicated place, but never give up!! Happy holidays!!!

just know that things will get better in time. our good and our bad has the shape of a triangle, we go through equal cycles of both, just wait it out no matter how hurt you are right now, things WILL get better.
PS don't take anti-depressives
oh, and you will go to hell if you commit suicide, nothings worse than that
