I try to bid on construction equipment on ebay. a lot of them they either stop the auction and relist or a new user wins it and i watch and they never get feedback for completing the transaction .

Yes!!! It's so frustrating. It's becoming more common too, which is too bad. I also hate the snipers, real and fake, who come in the last 5 seconds to steal what you've been bidding on for days and half the time it's the seller or a fake. Hate it. You can report it, but good luck.
Happy Holidays!

Anything that has a financial benefit like Ebay will be plagued by people trying to bend the rules to swindle stuff

With thousands and thousands of listings there is no way they can catch everyone so Ebay is littered with people that are unsavory and are up to no good.

yes, Ebay allows shill bidding, because it increases Ebay's profits. it happened to me. Only reason I didnt protest it was because I was willing to buy the car at the price I got it for, even though it got bid up about $300 more than my first bid.

Maybe for high end stuff like that . . . but generally, I don't think it is. Good luck!
