One Christmas my family couldn't afford a tree, so we taped Christmas cards on the wall in a tree shape. I remember thinking it was a cool idea. I was 9 or 10 years old. Actually, I still think it was a cool idea.

A Palm tree or any kind oF tall indoor plant would do! Just put lights around it, some ornaments and a tree skirt.

Some people get the small ones. I know someone who decorated one of their plants in their house with lights. We didn't get a tree this year so we just put lights around the mantle.

what i usually do is set up a village instead of a tree. my neighbor one year went and got just a regular tree that was dead, and had not leaves on it. she painted it white and hung white lights on it, and decorations. it was one of the best trees i have ever seen.

How about a Festivus pole? George's dad had a great idea on Seinfeld. I have one. It's only a foot tall and sitting on my stove.

sum1 i no had a branch of a conifer celotaped above theyre fireplace and decorated that, they wer prety poor 2
