Any password thats in the computer you would have had to put in.So if you dont know trhe password we cant help you.What are you trying to sign into? Yahoo,aol,???????If you have a selection at sign up point that says lost password click it and they will send it to you in a email.Sorry if this doesnt help.

Did you buy this from someone who forgot to give you the password? (Hopefully it wasn't stolen). I'm assuming you mean the password to get from the log in screen to actually running windows....not a bios password that preceeds that. Either way, you are the only one who can set a password, it doesn't come that way from Dell. Did your brother pull a mean trick on you?
There is a way, maybe, to reset it. It sometimes will work on desktops anyway. You have to flash the bios.

If it is a startup password you mean like xp they normaly have a question that is a question that if you answer it correctly it will let you get in. Ask the person you bought it from if you didnt buy it from the answer to the question

I have heard that there is no way of actually finding the password, if you dont have really valuable information on it then I would suggest reformatting the hard drive with the disc that came with the computer.

you should be able to cancel, or if you put on in when you started it, they should be able to give you a hint of what it is.
