Yes, I believe in karma too! If you do something nice for others, eventually something nice will happen back to you. But if you do something mean, that comes back to you too, and it bites back hard. :-P
For a good example.. I was sorting out the load of Halloween candy I had trick/treated for to give to the poor, and 1/2 hour later a relative came by bringing me loads of practically new (but used - they were theirs but they didn't fit anymore) clothes which were fantastic! That was pretty cool.

Your experience could be karma, but in the short term it was probably a coincidence. Good things do come to good people, but no good deed goes unpunished!
Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म from the root kṛ, "to do") is a word of ancient origin meaning action or activity and its subsequent results (also called karma-phala, "the fruits of action"). It is commonly understood as a term to denote the entire cycle of cause and effect as described in the philosophies of a number of Dharmic Religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism.
Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. Individuals go through certain processes and accompanying experiences throughout their lives which they have chosen, and those would be based on the results of their own creations: "karma". Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward. Karma simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for Ono's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through Ono's present life and all past and future lives as well.

i totally agree but i dont think karma is so simple..that was a terrible example. some people spend their lives doing good deeds yet still reap few erwards if any. i believe that the ultimate consequence or reward of your actions will be something far greater than a compliment on your eyes.

No, I do not believe in Karma. You probably just have beautiful eyes. I believe in blessings and divine discipline. Merry Christmas. Peace out.

Yes, I believe in Karma....good and bad! It's just weird that when you do something bad to someone it comes back on you double time!

In karma, you reap what you sow. It's pretty much a universal law. SO yeah, you gave good, and got good back.

It was a coincidence.
The only truth to Karma is that, if you're horrible, you make a lot of enemies, and one of them will get you back.
If you're kind, people will tend to be kind and compassionate toward you.
There is no magic.

More like - do unto others as you would want others do unto you. When you help or being nice to someone; don't expect anything from them. You will get your reward from other people. Remember "what goes around comes around."
God will bless those who bless others.
