cos my mate said if you do it standing up then wash out all the guys swimmers then you wont get preggnent and you are especially safe in the shower

Yes you can get pregnant doing it standing up. If you try to wash out all the guys "swimmers" your actually washing them further in.
Actually you can get pregnant any time during sex because the guys pre *** also has sperm in it. Besides by the time the guy pulls out, you duck walk to the bathroom, insert and squeeze a douche your already knocked up.
Use a rubber, birth control pill or something other than listening to the dumb *** ideas of your mate.
Find a birth control clinic and ask them for information and help in choosing a method that is right for you.

Yes, you can get pregnant standing up. Odds are your boy isn't a doctor, is he? NEVER listen to advice like that from a potential partner UNLESS he has an actual PROFESSIONAL backing him up.
Water can actually make it easier for you to become pregnant because you're helping to wash the sperm CLOSER to the egg. I'm quite sure that is how I recently became pregnant!

This is such a lie!! Girl you may be pregnant as I type!! You can get pregnant in the shower and out there is no 100% way of getting all the "guys swimmers" out by doing it standing !! You are at risk of getting pregnant and diseases by doing it in any position and in any place!

Do you see why we need sex education in the schools? Parents cannot be trusted to teach it properly, (or at all as in this case)and religious organizations cannot be trusted beyond "thou shalt not" which a teenager will interpret like "thou shalt", as it is human nature to want what is forbidden.
Sex education should be taught without interference, but not as a license for teenagers to have sex. They should be taught the good, the bad and the ugly, so that if a teenager is confronted with that potential first time, he or she will make AN INFORMED DECISION, and won't be asking questions like this one, or pay a heavy price for the rest of their lives.

After you have considered abstinence and contraceptives, you might want to consider the following:
1. After you "do it", slide down a slide, backwards, 50-100 times.
2. After you "do it", put headphones over your ovaries and blast William Shatner Christmas tunes.
3. Go to WalMart and observe all the mothers and their screaming kids and imagine one of them were you.
4. Imagine your boyfriend in the locker room telling all the guys what a dope you are for believing him.

Yes, you can get pregnant standing up and also in the shower. When ever you have unprotected sex you will get pregnant, whether you are standing, sitting up, lying down and etc. Always use protection or birth control.

Your boyfriend doesn't have a clue.... You can get pregnant in every possible pose, (in every room in the house.. :), every single day of the month - if you don't use protection that is..

so you know how ppl say there is never a stupid question...well they were wrong. your question is the stupidest one yet! if sperm gets in you...they swim...they can get you pregnant for 72 hours after sex...they just hang out in your vagina and cervix and they slip in whenever. what are you like 12??? you obviously shouldn't be having sex and neither should your partner...who sounds like a real winner. i would go to college and take a human anatomy class...you need help.
