It's for the girl to decide who she wants to be with. And it seems that she has made her decision.

One time I ended up being friends with the 'wrong girl' because she was in the company of the girl I liked and I didn't want to be unfriendly with her. Eventually, I had to leave her and make friends with the girl I really liked. And of course, the first girl wasn't happy. But it happened because of a misunderstanding and not because the other girl 'stole' me.

Perhaps it's like that with you, the girl, and you brother.

Did he TAKE her, or did she GO to him?

In either case, it's not right for him to go with her, even after you two break up. But it's more f---ed of HER. If that's the kind of girl she is that she'd go with your brother, the Hell with her - be glad you found out NOW.
