Any of the above are excellent suggestions. In my experience, though, they'll get more of a kick playing with the wrapping paper and box it comes in! Merry Christmas!

My children loved to play with blocks and telephones at the age of one. They make toy cellphones for infants now. That's an awesome present. Also, my one-year-old loves to carry things around the house, she is very curious about papers and starting to color. Hope this helps.

Something she can push or pull while walking. My 17 month old son still loves these kinds of toys! If it makes noise she'll like it even more.

A box. Kids love boxes. Maybe a small rattle or teddy bear.
