a local news report stated a woman boarded a city bus, handed everyone on the bus a sealed envelope, and deboarded before anyone could say anything. an estimated $1000 was handed out. all the bills were legit!!

If they didn't say anything to me and just walked away...I would probably put it in my purse and leave it there for a few weeks until I came to some conclusion on why they might do that.

I wouldnt accept it. If the person has such a good heart then he deserves to keep it. However it could be counterfeit and a good enough person would donate it.

i would throw it down on the ground and run away and call the cops!! ain't no tellin what can happen you could be gettin scammed or somethin! there's way to many crazy, mean people out there and you never know what they could be up to!

I'd ask why.
And I'd ask if they had the right person.

Then, verifying its authenticity, I would take it. And if it was a fake, I'd take the envolope and the bill to the police.
