Washington, DC. That way the residents of the Nation's Capital would finally have voting representation in the House and the Senate. Personally I think DC should not be a state on its own for a lot of reasons and should just get the voting representation we deserve, because we do pay Federal taxes even though we have no representation. But before we start looking for another state to add, let's work this major problem out first.

the idea has actually been tossed around by some government type officials. they think they want to take the eastern half of washington state, the idaho panhandle, and a small chunk of montana to make the 51st state. it would be called columbia, because of the coulmbia river, and spokane would be the capital.

Puerto Rico. It's long overdue. We should get rid of commonwealth status and force them to choose independence or Statehood.

DC ranks equally. Their voters have to pay taxes and such, but are not allowed to have voice in the House or the Senate. Taxation without representation and all that...

California. North California and South California. Then maybe we could have a chance at helping immigration get fixed. Or maybe an East Texas and West Texas. Same reasons.

If there was a fifty-first state I'd love it to be in the Pacific Ocean, just south of Hawaii...called...uhh..."Juma Juma Chingo Chingo." They'd be hippies and eat Fish and Bananas all day, playing their Steel Drums.
