My sister has a 1st generation shuffle that she exercises with but I know she wants the smaller 2nd generation IPOD shuffle but I was thinking of getting her a Nano instead. Is the new Nano still small enough and convenient to work out?

She currently has an old 20GB Ipod and 1st generation shuffle.

I believe the Nano is what they use to advertise their iPod + Nike commercial, so I would think so. Just be sure to get an armband.

"Go on tour
Add accessories and your music stays with you at home and on the go. Of course, iPod nano itself makes a great accessory. Wear up to 2,000 songs around your neck. Run with up to five days of skip-free music on your arm. Get an iPod nano to match your Nike+ shoes. iPod nano is the new black (and pink and blue and green and silver)."
