goth is more rebellious and dark. Emo is pop/punk.

Honestly, I don't know. Goths to me are the ones that listen to heavy metal type bands and wear all black with lots of dark make up and tattoos and piercings. Emos I would guess are much the same but more depressed?

Gothic is a style of architecture that I much enjoy, and emo is the word emotional shortened down. Both have been adapted as clothing styles. Goth being more focused on darkness and black, accompanied by fishnets and PVC. Emo being men in women's pants with hair in their faces.

goths make dog/cat sacrifices (which is terrible!), wear only black
emo ppl wear dark colors usually, but also pinks, and they dont kill animals as sacrifices, they write poetry, cut themselves (ew), and look sad
