I have to say that it's Children and Fools, by Terry Mirll. That thing is just out and out hilarious. Especially the part where he gets his arm stuck in the vending machine, and the part where they lose the turkey over the edge of the balconey. The man's got a hilarious way with words, and I absolutely love his books.

Without a doubt, "How I Paid for College: A Novel of Sex, Friendship, Theft, and Musical Theater" by Mark Acito. The characters are funny, the dialogue is funny and witty, and the situations will have you cracking up, or at least they did me. I just remember getting a lot of odd looks for bursting out laughing aloud while reading it. It's hilarious!
I also think that Terry Pratchett does humor beautifully in all of his books, but some are funnier than others.

All of the MASH books and every one of the books by the late Daniel V. Gallery Rear Admiral retired. Two sets of the funniest books I have ever read. The MASH books are continuations of the the original book and takes place in Maine when all the guys are civilians. In one instance when Hawkeye was doing his Internship at a hospital he had to register his car and he wrote down 1941 Corvette. Also a book written by Allan Sherman the comedian called RAPE OF THE A.P.E. which stands for American Puritan Ethnic.

Shoot Low, Boys, They're Ridin' Shetland Ponies!
by Lewis Grizzard
(inside flap)
"Imagine Andy Rooney with a Georgia accent." The Houston Post
John Wayne had it. True Grit, that is. Bestselling humorist and philosopher Lewis Grizzard looked for other Americans with true grit. What he found will make you laugh and perhaps even wipe away a tear. True Grit. The people in this book have it. And so does Lewis Grizzard.

Catcher in the Rye is kinda funny. Try the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series" by Douglas Adams. Any of Douglas Adams's books are hilarious.
