Tell him how you feel. If nothing, you'll have at least gotten it off your chest. You have nothing to lose. Go for it.

While I agree that you can do nothing to stop where is heart and life are going...yiou can make the path to his new life smoother. Step back. He is engaged and getting married to someone else.
Try not to cling...or call him...right now is not the time. Just pray that he will be happy in his new life. I don't agree with those who say there are other fish in the sea...I never wanted to date a fish...I mean where is the human element in that thought?

Does he know how you feel about him? If he's not engaged yet then there is nothing wrong with telling him how you feel. Let him know that regardless, you and him will still be friends even when he's married but you just thought he should know. If he has second thoughts after you tell him this then maybe that's not the person he should be with.

If possible, move away. Start anew. It doesn't get rid of the pain, but it does ease it quite a bit. Over time, you will feel better. Plus, by moving to a new town, there are many new people, with many new possibilities.
Good luck to you in the future.

What else can you do but wish them a life of happiness and be there for him. I know this isn't the answer you wanted to hear but if he loves the woman enough to propose then he has already thought about spending the rest of his life with her and apparently loves her. Sorry that you're hurt.

Get over it and move one. Don't he a home wrecker. Plenty of fish in the sea so you need to go find your own. All you are going to do if you persue this is end up hurting yourself because the majority of the time they stay with their partner.

You are not the first and for sure not the last. Do what all who proceed you in this case have done. Nothing, wish him well then move on with your life. There is other fish in the sea.

GET OVER IT.
Realize that you can't make anyone love you, and the LONGER you hold on to this pipe dream and obsession with someone who OBVIOUSLY WANTS TO BE WITH SOMEONE ELSE - the longer you are DENYING yourself the ability to find someone who is available for you and that can love you.
There is someone out there for you, but if you waste your time one someone who does NOT love you, you'll never find him. So grow up and move on!

I would cry for a year. And daydream his face--which is exquisite--forever. So sorry to hear about your loss. Hugs. If it's any consolation, you're not alone. Unrequitted love is bloody common. Let's start a club for us dumped and lonely people. Sigh...

There is not a whole lot you can do, but you should have been more honest with yourself, and him, and told him your feelings and maybe he would be your husband in the near future and not someone else's.
