Just give him time and care, he will calm down in time. One of my cats was badly abused before I took her in. She was pretty much the same way, all over me all the time. I dont remember how long it took, but now she just get all over me for about 15 minutes every night when I go to bed and thats it.

You should be grateful. Cats don't give love easily. I'd be thrilled to get half that much attention from Baby, and he's lived with me since he was a week old. I bottle-fed his little brown butt, and he still doesn't love me that much!

When he starts to bother you in the middle of the night, lock him outside of you bedroom. He'll get the hint.

Just Love Him! Close the bedroom door if you don't want him to wake you up. I guess his personality and the other cat's just don't jive, just like people, I guess.

Yah I see your problem. I have 6 cats and i adopted my 6th two weeks ago and its a crazy cat
Most cats can get very lonley and sick if they dont have another little siblign around it. If you don't choose to get another cat right away thats fune. But If he/she starts to get very skinny not too playful anymore you NEED TO GET ANOTHER CAT. or it could get worst and soon end up ina terrible death.
If you do get another cat and they are way to wild go to the local vet or Petco that sells stuff for animals. they have these pills you can put in drinks or showe down throat and it calms then down and then they stay clamed down when you stop using them. These pills are usually used for trips in the car for them so they dont get scared while in the car. But they do work in the house.
Good luck with your cat and god bless it.

maybe show him lots of attention during the day so he will give you a break at night....set aside at least one half hour everyday and devote it entirely to him....if he is a kitten maybe he will outgrow it
good luck

Neutering your male cat will calm him down. It will also lessen his tendency to 'spray', hump things or run away.

Either ignore him, or just lock him in a different room.
