First, you should ask yourself why you want to practice the Craft. If it is to control others or other selfish reasons then it probably isn't for you since it rarely works out well for those who only persue it for power. Second, Wicca is a religion, Witchcraft is an Art or a Science (depending on your preception of it). If you are interested in either, there are several good online sources including Yahoo groups. I'll post a few links below. For books on either subject try:

Hope that helps. :)

Becoming a witch isn't as fun as some people think it is... no cool powers and no abracadabra magic. Becoming a witch IS a life choice though and there are many, many internet sites to help you with your decision. There may (or may not, depending on where you live) be several "new age" shops which are more than willing to help you on your path.
Good luck and Blessed Be.

*I waves my Magic Wand, and PRESTO.....*
..................You're a Witch...............
Everyone has a belief in how one 'truly becomes a witch'.
A Witch by definition was the 'wise woman of the village'. In some cases it was herbal medicine only, in other cases they would make 'charms' and such to bring luck for a crop or a birth.
The original 'spell-casters' and 'wise people' of the Celts were the Druids.
Much of Celtic history will delve into the Druids, and you will not actually find mention of 'witches'. This is because 'once a Druid always a Druid'. Druids would often return to town to help out rather than remain in the Druidic colleges. It is thought by some that the Witches are simply a name used by those 'town-Druids' after the Romans began hunting them in earnest in the 3-5th century C.E.

Learn to meditate.
Go and meditate in the vicinity of trees.
Buy a Tarot deck (I suggest the Universal Waite), and, every day, do a reading on what's going to happen that day, and at the end of the day note down what happened....in about six months you'll understand the Tarot in a way that no amount of classes will ennable you.
Then you'll be able to use the cards to cause things to happen.... which is a variety of magick.
Meanwhile, buy a lot of books and do a lot of research, the more you focus your mind on this kind of thing, the more your world will adjust and bring you opportunities to meet people who will be able to teach you what you want to know.
"When the student is ready, the teacher appears."

"I cursed someone and as the saying goes, if a person is not worthy of the curs, it comes back to the witch, threefold. So now I am cursed, still to this day."
And what part of "An it harm none, do as ye will" did you not understand, since you claimed to be Wiccan?
To the questioner - check out http://www.witchvox.com and do some reading.

Just go look in the mirror and call yourself a witch and practice what witches normally do.

I use to be Wicca, but I had too many problems with the craft, so I got covered in the blood. I had a friend who levitated a car and it came over to him and fell on him, killing him. I was having some problems with demons in Panama, in my house. Both my housekeeper and I could not get rid of them. I tried a protection spell and she tried voodoo, both did not work. I cursed someone and as the saying goes, if a person is not worthy of the curs, it comes back to the witch, threefold. So now I am cursed, still to this day. I believe Christians when they say that the magic is of Satan and not from nature, as a Wiccan would have you believe.
