Legally. What are the laws on that, like if you got in a wreck or something?

So if my school does nothing, then no one does? Because my school does nothing. And my mom found out I skipped one class. Once. She has spies everywhere. And this is my assignment, to find out what happens if you get caught.

Depends on your age, school level, if the absence is excused or not. (if Car troubles at fault, it probalby is)
Usually laws don't cover much of that, but school policies do. Check them, they vary from school to school.
