On the radio yesterday they had people phoning in who had witnessed 'Mad shoppers'.
A security guard rang in to say that he had had to break up two elderly women fighting in the store, and a worker from Marks and Spencers saw two people fighting over a Christmas Pudding. The man had picked it up before the woman could get to it, she told him it was hers, and he told her it wasn't. The woman proceeded to take her keys and stab holes in the pudding, before walking off - charming!
It is indecent! When you think that there are families surviving on a cup of rice a day .................... the world has gone mad!!!!!

All the eggs were broken and there were only caged hens eggs left, but the other woman shopping found a dozen and we split them between two clean 1/2 dozen packs, but when I told my mum she said that when she had been to the supermarket the eggs had been put away as people were throwing them at each other. It's so sad, christmas won't be any worse or better for the right sort of pudding or if you have sprouts with your meal. It's the people you're with and what you do that counts!

I totally agree, last year I didn't have my kids for Christmas(their dad had them) so instead we had ours a week early, so we were done and relaxed when everyone else was running around and being crazy. I think that the example that we as adults set for our children is insane, like the meaning of Christmas is killing someone over the last tickle me Elmo doll, or waiting in line over night to get a stupid video game!! Come on, give yourself plenty of time to get what you want, shop all year and not at the last moment, think about what next year would be like if everyone did just that?

I got finished shoping last week, and helped a mate with his on Friday. Funny, but once out of traffic, the people in shops were all nice and patient. Maybe they were just too knackered to be prats, but today were rested enough to be somewhere between right gits and complete prats.
In spite of it,
Happy Christmas

I was shopping yesterday, but I was in a very good mood. So when someone rammed me with their cart.... I smiled. Most of them smiled back, and apologized. I put on a smile for the rest of the day, and amazingly, I saw sooo many smiling faces looking back at me.

It's awful out there. People seem to get meaner during the holidays these days.
