One year I had to take the Christmas tree out a few days before Christmas because it was too dry. Local fire departments kept showing demonstrations on TV about how fast trees caught fire and spread to the drapes or sofas! Times were really tight for me as a single parent then but my kids were heartbroken that I'd thrown away the tree. This was an unusually cold, windy winter for California and there was even ice or frost forming. So much so, that one tree vendor gave up his lot early and put up a sign that said "Free tree's! Merry Christmas!" We just happened to be driving by and I was able to get a tree and tie it to my car all by myself. That guy will never know the Christmas magic he was able to bring to my girls that year!

Probably. Since Christmas hasn't even arrived yet, why bother putting the tree up in the first place?

Um, yes, since today is Christmas Eve and Christmas is tommorow, and most people need their tree for these two days. Actually, it is a symbol of Christmas, practically, so yes, you are the only one.

Haha.. one year I took down the Christmas tree on Christmas Day. My family did NOT appreciate it. So, now I wait at least until the day after. :)

Anyways,
