G-strings only look good on very fit and toned women as far as I'm concerned.
Generally I like just regular girly knickers/panties, so I would say French knickers to answer this question. They look better on the majority of women, regardless of shape or size.
Boxer shorts, pyjamas and football/soccer shirts also look great on women! :)

I have so much more fun peeling a pair of French knickers off. G-strings are ok but I prefer the frenchies.
