Yes, both Mary and Joseph were Palestinian in the sense that the overall region where they were born and lived most of their lives (except for a sojourn in Egypt) was referred to as Palestine (from the Phoenicians, did you know that? And that the Philistines were connections of the Phoenicians?). They themselves would have thought of themselves as Jews first, then Israelites, then Galileans.

Remember that at the time Palestine was a conquered province, and the Romans really frowned on too much nationalist spirit from the native peoples.

They were from Judea and travelled to Bethlehem. Bethlehem is currently in Palestinian held territory.

In reality, Joseph and Mary were Jews.

Palestinian isn't a race or religion it's more like where you are from....like saying you are American, Canadian or Australian.
