Yeast infection symptoms include a yeast type odor, itching around the vaginal opening and surrounding area, and a cottage cheese type discharge. If this is the first time you have ever had one, you need to see your doctor for confirmation before using any over the counter type medication.

Could be a yeast infection especially if you are on antibiotics. Every time I take antibiotics I get a yeast infection. It's because the antibiotics also kills the good bacteria in our vaginas that keep them healthy. If this is your first, go to the doc to make sure. If not try some monistat, you can get it at just about any drugstore.

The best thing to do is to see your gynocologist or talk to the doctor who prescribed your antibiotics. Usually they will recommend Monistat. Yeast infections can cause a rash but usually the kind of yeast infections that cause rashes are sexually transmitted.

well one thing i know its yeast infections i get them everytime i get and antibiotic and your's seems to be from the antibiotic yeah the discharge is there and it has a weird smell but not fishy i suggest you see your doctor as soon as you can because if you don't it's going to get worse and everytime you wipe after urinating you are just going to keep spreading it . Tell your doctor that you are drinking antibiotics and don't try to treat it on your own. Also to relieve the rash a bit more don't take hot baths or showers that makes it worse use luke or slightly cold water and wash your privates that seems to stop it from spreading.

Some information to help you with yeast infection. You can go to your local drug store and purchase a yeast infection kit usually located in the isle where the women's prodcuts are (pads, tampons, etc.). However if this is your first yeast infection, which it sounds like it's best to go to a doctor and have them perscribe you medication and talk to you about this and inform you what to do in case it happens again and symptons and signs to look for in the feature. I recommend going to your doctor so that they can help you now as well as in the future as to going to a store and purchasing a product. Good Luck.

Yes, it sounds like it may be a yeast infection. Considering you are on an antibiotic, this sounds like the case. You can opt to treat it yourself by purchasing over the counter creams/vaginal suppositories, or see your physician.

Sincerely,

Go see your doctor else use a sanitizing solution (have it in different brands) thrice a day...Wash frequently with cold water.. and let it dry and apply any medicated cream or powder. Do it for few days If it does not help call you doctor immediately
